OO - EU Tax Exemption "the App” provides a streamlined solution for EU VAT ID validation and tax exemption "the Service" to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.
Personal Information the App Collects
When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:
Billing API: Used to manage billing and subscriptions through Shopify’s billing system.
Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from you once you have installed the App:
Information about you, such as your name, email address, and store details, only when you contact us for assistance with installing or configuring the App. We do not collect or store any other data independently from Shopify. If you request assistance, we will send a collaborator request to access your store.
We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual or through your Shopify account.
We also use log files to track actions occurring within the App for debugging purposes. These log files may collect data such as your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

Log files are only retained as long as necessary for debugging purposes and are then deleted.
